Woohoo a card at last

It might be plain and simple but its a card. Think all my Christmas cards are going to have to be plain and simple like this else at the rate I'm going I'll still be doing them in January. I have used a PB stamp, coloured with promarkers.

A Wedding Card

My sister asked me to make a Wedding card for two friends of hers that are getting married next week. I couldn't do the usual bride and groom theme because they are a female couple. Didn't quite know where to start with this one especially seeing as my card making skills have been non exsistent of late but I'm quite pleased with the result.

Something Different

Seeing as I'm struggling to make cards at the moment I thought I'd try my hand at jewellery making. The first photo is a bracelet and the second earrings. I took loads of photos of these

but for some reason I couldn't get a decent one. The bracelet is actually pink and blue beads and the earrings aren't blurry in real life and have got little roses inside the bead. Neither are perfect, I know, but for a first attempt I'm quite pleased with how they have turned out. Katie has already pinched the bracelet for her friends birthday.

Another Quick One

When I say another quick one I mean it was quick to put together but I spent a good part of the afternoon thinking about how to put it together, oh mojo please come back all is forgiven. I am going to enter this one into SCSC which is Teenage Boys so I think this one fits the bill. Can't remember what the papers are but the image is from Digistamp Boutique.

Just A Quick Card

Just a quick card from me today its about all I can manage at the moment, I seem to have lost all my enthusiasm for card making so for the time being I am just doing quick easy cards for my box and not for challenges unless they happen to fit the challenges. I have used a stamp from Cuddly Buddly, coloured with Promarkers and the paper is by Bo Bunny.

Forever Friends DT Card

The Forever Friends challenge this week is to use black and white and one other colour of your choice. I have used Pink Petticoat papers and decided not to colour my image for this one.
I'm sad to say that this is my last DT card for this challenge as I have decided to leave but I wish the girls all the best for the future it's been a pleasure to work with such talented ladies and of course I will be joining in the challenges when I can.

Polka Dot Party

The MTTC challenge this week is Polka Dot Party, I have made a quickie card because I have completely lost my mojo. The image is Katie a Cuddly Buddly stamp and the papers are Doodlebug.

Forever Friends - Wrap It Up

This weeks Forever Friends challenge is Wrap It Up, you could make a gift box, gift tag, a gift card holder or even a gift themed card, the choice is yours. I have decided to make a little gift box and have printed the design paper, by Mechelle Conrad, directly onto the cardstock. Image has been coloured with Promarkers.

Back From Hols

I'm back off my holiday now and trying to get back into the swing of things again. Had loads of washing to do but have more or less caught up on that now, thankfully. Not really in the mood for card making at the moment and my laptops on the blink so thats making things harder but hopefully I'll get back into the card making mood soon. Back to work for me tomorrow too after a six and a half week break so I'm not looking forward to that and the girls are also back to school. Once I'm back to the usual routine I will try and catch up on blog hoping and hopefully get a bit of inspiration.

Forever Friends - Eyelets or Brads

Morning all, I've scheduled this card to go onto my blog because I'm on holiday so I'm hoping that Blogger is behaving and has put it on at the right time. It's my DT card for the Forever Friends challenge which this week is to use Eyelets or Brads on your creations, I have opted for eyelets and have put one either side of my image and one in the middle of the flower and inside of the eyelet hole I have put a glittery gem. Image is of course a FF image coloured with Promarkers and papers are Bloom & Grow by My Minds Eye.

Off on my hols

Hi all, I'm off on my hols tomorrow, not going far just to Perran Sands in Cornwall, but its a break and I'm really looking forward to it. Just hoping the weather improves a bit. Not taking my lappy so I'll see you all in a week.

Sketch and Stash Challenge

Today's card is for this weeks Sketch and Stash challenge. I've rotated the sketch for this one and haven't put any embellies on it because I wanted to keep it simple. I have used my new Bazil Bling card and new Bloom and Grow papers. The image is a digi stamp from CC Designs.
